This is my favorite Hadley series from the past year. It wasn't planned but Hadley's candy jar matched her outfit and I'd left a soft box upstairs from a food photography shoot I'd done the day before. I love that it looks like there is a black-backdrop, but in reality, these were taken in an empty room, at night, with most of the lights off.
Hadley has ALOT of wiggles and even with as many kids as I've photographed, I still pat myself on the back every time I get a photo of her "sitting still." I think those wiggles make her an exceptional model; if you look carefully, you can see the energy in the little fingers that grasp the jar in the photos below.
