I've established the following guiding principles to help create curiosity and delight in my work.  I want photoshoots to be...

Kid-Centric
Your children get to be who they are, not who we want them to be.   Sometimes, that means super serious or silly!  I do not need your child to perform, just to be themselves.  Some of my favorites of my own Hadley Bear are those where she is moving or not even looking, yet her personality abounds!

Organic
There is a warming up process for everyone at the beginning of every shoot.  You're not wasting my time and I've moved away from strict time-limits in general;  Kids do things in their own time.   Snack break?  Breast-feeding/Bottle?  Excellent ideas!

Easy
Come as you are.  That goes for you, your house, your kids.  Otherwise, you'll risk missing out on these youth-filled days!  So many people say to me, "I'll book a shoot when I loose ten pounds..."  Seriously, don't wait!  Your kids want to remember the you they love right now.   Maybe you will loose those ten pounds and maybe you wont, but either way, you'll miss capturing the amazing age your kids are at right now.  YOU are an important part of their story.  Be in it!   You're perfect and I am really good at my job.  

Fun!  
Anything we want kids to do, they simply won't.  Having fun means letting go of the perfect and embracing the beautiful mess.  Kids need your permission to get dirty and explore.  We'll take a lot of pics that we won't use, but that's ok!  Say it with me "It's ok."  Messy clothes, "It's ok."  Sucking thumb, "It's ok."  Eating grass... "Still ok."  Once we settle in, the thumb goes away, the smile comes out.   Words like "stop" and "don't" create a slippery slope where family-photo-sessions go to die (within safe parameters of course!).

 
Below, I list the sessions I currently offer.  You'll notice I do not offer everything.  I want to put all my time and love into you and yours and the sessions below allow me to do that!  If your not sure what works best for your family, please contact me, I would love to chat.
