When I agreed to photograph raw meat for Corsello Butcheria, I had two questions to research: could I make raw meat look appetizing (which is hard when you think about blood, guts and skin!), and whether I could  make a generic cut of meat, be branded for Corsello's.

Plans were made, the meat was picked up, and six hours were spent carefully arranging tenderloins, while adhering to strict refrigeration protocol (waste not, want not).   After a long day spent covered in meat juice, I have to say... it was definitely worth it.  Take a look.

Alba of Denmark is a Scandinavian kids clothing brand that leads the way in sustainable, small batch fashion and zero waste kids clothing.  Leah at Ittikid was one of the first US carriers of Scandinavian kids clothing and has been instrumental in advocating for diversity in models and character prints across the brands she carries.

Needless to say, we are thrilled to represent these eco-friendly companies, and we can't wait to share our retro style with you.

Headshots and product photography with Z Wraps at Eastworks in Easthampton, Massachusetts.  This session was booked to tell the vibrant story about the team of women who create Z Wraps locally.  Included in this one hour session was headshots, group photos and some lifestyle/storytelling ambiance.  Separate product/food photography session.

On one of the darkest days of covid winter, while my kids were on zoom class, and I was knee deep in laundry, I saw the cutest picture of baby goats wearing pajamas.  Joy.  I knew the sun was shining if I could just get out of my house to go find it - probably on a farm with baby goats.  A friend from Hukowicz Farm came to the rescue and we were soon parading obstinate sheep, decked in miniature hats around in circles.  At the end of a sweaty, smelly day, we snuck her kids into the mix, and those ten minutes with two little kids filled my bucket over.  After all the days effort, it turns out I didn't missed my calling after all.  So here are some photos of really cute farm kids, a few sheep and maybe more cute animals later...

Hadley's expressions are too funny not to share.  Hadley has ALL THE WIGGLES and is not easy to photograph.  I often will book other people's children for client work, though I wonder... if she wasn't SO active and SO emotional, would the photos be this fun?!  Probably not.   This series was done in less than ten minutes and the horse absolutely helped keep her engaged.  

The clothes are from IttiKid and are just as vibrant as my children.  We love all the Scandinavian prints in our house!  Featured is Alba of Denmark one of our favorite scandi brands.  Ittikid has saved me from dying a slow death in the monotones that make up the boys fashion industry!    And, we dig the idea of slow fashion and supporting "mompreneurs."
